I get the error following about some files being contained by the subpackages intel-compiler-base and intel-fortran-compiler at the same time:
/opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2018.0.128/linux/compiler/include/intel64/omp_lib.mod exists in both 'intel-compiler-base' and 'intel-fortran-compiler'
/opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2018.0.128/linux/compiler/include/intel64/omp_lib_kinds.mod exists in both 'intel-compiler-base' and 'intel-fortran-compiler'
/opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2018.0.128/linux/compiler/include/omp_lib.f90 exists in both 'intel-compiler-base' and 'intel-fortran-compiler'

It is still possible to force installation though. But a fix would be nice.

I updated the scripts. For some reason there are conflicts with the fortran package when updating everything at once.

Either force install everything, or install the packages individually. I don't know how to solve this at this moment so if anyone knows, feel free to make a patch :).

Another note, this package has no mpi wrappers for intel mpi. So if you need mpi, i suggest not upgradint to 2018 for the moment. The wrappers (mpiicc, mpiifort) will probobly be released at some later stage in a cluster edition.

@zwastik What is the code you tried to compile? I have no issues with Cmake and icc for the codes i tried. I suspect the issue is in the cmake definitions perhaps

I had the same "write failed" error mentioned earlier by tastyminerals.

The problem was that makepkg was trying to build the library under /tmp, which was too small (16GB of tmpfs were not enough in my case).

You may change the BUILDDIR location of makepkg as described here:
In my case, it solved the problem.

How can I add in gdb-ia? Its a main component of the PXE suite but not directly available here. Uncommenting out the lines in the PKGBUILD with debugger and adding in intel-gdb.conf to the sources/sha256sums array is not enough apparently.

There's now a community license option that is open to everyone, and doesn't require a Parallel Studio license.

I'm having a bit of trouble running the install, apparently with lzop. This is the error:

loading packages...
lzop: Inappropriate ioctl for device: <stdin>
lzop: Inappropriate ioctl for device: <stdin>

lzop: <stdin>: Checksum error [####-----------------] 21%
==> WARNING: Failed to install built package(s).

Not sure where lzop is called in the install scripts so I could try walking things through by hand.

@dengarjs I don't remember the exact reason, but I believe they were missing in a previous source file for an update. I see they are bundled again, so I will put them back on this weekend.
