Svenstaro has just added the static libs to the community intel-mkl package, so I support the call to remove the intel-mkl_psxe package from here.

Pete commented on 2020-04-20 05:42

@Svenstaro Ok, just did that. It would be great indeed if the community package includes the static libs.

Svenstaro commented on 2020-04-20 05:20

If you need the static libs in [community], you should give us a bug report about that.

Pete commented on 2020-04-20 04:50

Thanks hbhkx for picking up the maintainer hat for this package. The version in community doesn't contain the static libraries, so please keep intel-mkl_psxe

Svenstaro commented on 2020-04-19 21:26

Can't you just remove intel-mkl_psxe? The version in [community] should be packaged as per upstream intentions so I don't see the need for the duplication.

This package should be renamed due a conflict with community repo.

You should correct the package, now that we have a community library it leads to a conflict.

@Svenstaro: I've created a bug report with more information. I can get back to the issue in the following days and make a patch.

@alyst/stephencox: You have to quote all instances of $xe_build_dir, $srcdir and $pkgdir as they may contain spaces.
