Your PKGBUILD is not entirely correct: you need double quotes around your 'provides' string, otherwise ${_realver} will be included literally instead of being resolved. Moreover, in some places your braces were wrong: ${_gitname-build} will resolve to "glib", not to "glib-build"; use ${_gitname}-build instead. And why do you need that `for` loop in your package function? Wouldn't a simple chmod -x path/* suffice?
