I've removed lash from [community]:

failing to build at "rtosc not found please check file permissions and your network"

Ah, apparently it’s the third-party library “pugl” which requires -lGLU when building, even though it does not appear to actually use any symbol from glu (and so the linker just drops it). I have now updated the PKGBUILD, thanks for notifying me.

@spider-mario: cmake insists on having glu installed, so it possibly belongs then to the makedepends array, but I didn't investigate further

(I just chimed in as I had the exact same issue with one of my pkgbuilds).

In any case, you should be able to reproduce the error (and catch easily any missing deps) if you build in a clean chroot with extra-x86_64-build from the devtools package:

Ah, right, that makes sense. Thanks.

Are you sure about glu, though? I don’t see in the lddtree output for either /usr/bin/zynaddsubfx or /opt/zyn-fusion/zyn-fusion, or any of the .so files. namcap doesn’t detect the dependency either.

@Gimmeapill: It is makedepends: 'wget' for me. It builds and installs fine now. Thanks.

Some dependencies need to be added in order to build successfully in a clean chroot:

makedepends: 'wget' 'cmake' 'python'

depdends: 'glu'

dsreyes1014, could you please post the build log to some paste service? I can’t seem to reproduce the issue.

ruby-rake is in community ( ), it has been split from the ruby package:

Should this package depend on the 'ruby' package from extra instead of 'ruby-make' which appears to be broken?
