Hey @sputnick,

That definitely isn't an md5 checksum...

I think you meant to use:

This is a patch I believe follows AUR guidelines.

curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate
More details here:

curl performs SSL certificate verification by default, using a "bundle"
of Certificate Authority (CA) public keys (CA certs). If the default
bundle file isn't adequate, you can specify an alternate file
using the --cacert option.
If this HTTPS server uses a certificate signed by a CA represented in
the bundle, the certificate verification probably failed due to a
problem with the certificate (it might be expired, or the name might
not match the domain name in the URL).
If you'd like to turn off curl's verification of the certificate, use
the -k (or --insecure) option.
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading

The intermediate cert is not provided by the server.
firefox and probably other browsers have a
certificate discovery feature to download it, but the curl and
openssl cli tools do not.
This is shown here (which also shows other ssl settings which
are outdated)
Some reference for that is here:

There are 2 relatively straightforward workarounds,
Export the certificate chain in firefox, then
then run curl, or any program which calls curl
or disable certificate checking, with curl -k
or for arch, edit the PKGFILE to have
DLAGENTS=("https::/usr/bin/curl -k -o %o %u")
