@oberon2007 the problem is compatibility issue with gtk2 themes, im still using gtk2 apps cuz i don't like the compatibility theme issue gtk3.18 gtk3.20 gtk3.22 has, thats why im stock in gtk2 and qt4 apps cuz they match all with the same gtk theme and decorator, that why i would like to have the gtk2 version of this pacakge

not sure what you mean. What's wrong with this one here? Xfce is currently being port completely to gkt3. But this is still an old release anyway.

Previously the drop down menu worked only sporadically, no idea what causes it, but additional installation of indicator-application-gtk2 (marked optional) and indicator-application from the AUR made it work consistently.
