@gato_lento: Please don't remove the original maintainer info (yaroslav) when adding yourself as the maintainer. Move it to a Contributor instead.

Apart from the version bump, one could also add the man page. See the differences here.

Could the git repository line in the PKGBUILD be changed to "git+https://...", this would make the package build work even if one is located behind a proxy that blocks non http(s) traffic.

This package is very important for some of us and should be in the official repos. Can we lobby the TUs/devs? :)

@cluxter: xcalib only loads calibration to VCGT of video card (if supported), it does not colour manage your screen. Synthetic profiles like AdobeRGB are not supposed to have hardware dependent calibration data, hence the error. You have to create your own ICC profile with proper calibration hw, otherwise use of xcalib does not make any sense.

Every time I try this (for example):

$ xcalib -d :0 /usr/share/color/icc/colord/AdobeRGB1998.icc

I get this:

Warning - No calibration data in ICC profile './AdobeRGB1998.icc' found

And I get this message for any ICC profile I try to load, including those generated with "lprof" as described here:
Any clue about what's causing this?

It's designed to "git clone". To view in a browser use

Should depend on libxrandr

Hmm, I didn't know about this version. Thank you for writing to me.
