The upstream maintainer re-tagged the commit for 2.1.0 to fix the version issue. I've updated the pkgsums to reflect the new tag, and removed the workaround from the pkgbuild file.

Updated to 2.1.0.

The tagged version for wp-cli-bundle references the commit in wp-cli/wp-cli before the VERSION file was updated, and therefore a standard build outputs the incorrect version. I've added a patch to the PKGBUILD to work around the issue, and filed a bug report with the wp-cli-bundle maintainers.

Since the patch has essentially zero performance impact, and won't be broken when the fix is applied upstream, I'll be leaving it in until the next version release instead of publishing 2.1.0-3.

Thanks for keeping this up to date. I don't maintain packages anymore, but I know it's not always easy to make the time or keep motivated.

and indeed, that url gives a 400, but remove the trailing slash and it works. i wonder what does that.

Updated pkgsums from re-tagging and confirmed that a fresh install works.

You may need to clear caches if using an aur helper such as pacaur.

PHPUnit error should be fixed. I've pushed updated pkgsums, though they might change again soon.

I opened a bug report that the VERSION in the latest tagged release is incorrect, so they might be re-tagging, in which case pkgsums will change again.

At the time of writing, it should be good. If they push the updated tag, I'll update as soon as I can.

checksums for wp-cli source seems to be incorrect. In addition, it gives the warning that php 7.2 isn't compatible, then gives 'phpunit: command not found'.

0x6d617474 commented on 2017-12-23 20:10

I added a check to not run the test suite if the local PHP version is 7.2.0+

This should allow users running 7.2.0+ to successfully install.
