Please do not set $PKGEXT in the PKGBUILD, this is intended to be used by users from makepkg.conf and you're overriding their personal choices. Setting it to no compression is already part of the wiki "Tips and tricks" section:

simona, you need to download the installer from GOG, and place in it the directory. The PKGBUILD will not download it for you because it's paywalled.

You may also need to update the filename and sha256

I'm not sure what is linked with that, but I will add it to the dependencies. According to the post you linked "Unity3D 5.0 audio back-end has switched to PulseAudio exclusively."

Seems that Director's Cut depends on pulseaudio:

Confirmed (WL2 is ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64 only), thanks.

Wasteland 2 DC ist 64 bit only, Wasteland 2 Original ist 32/64 bit see:

snarfies: I don't see an update in my GOG library. I'm fairly sure you can't buy the non Director's Cut version anymore, so I'm not sure where you're getting a different hash from.

Just purchased and downloaded Wasteland2 from GOG today, but got a SHA256 value of 18fc7223c07acdce28f29b4256a7eea9684e8e209b0b6d9b4f866e443839f2ba. I plugged that into my PKGBUILD and it seemed to work, yolo.
