When attempting to launch the console for a VM within the web interface after installing the 5.1 .bundle with the help of this package, I receive an error from both Firefox and Google Chrome: "Error: Error calling method on NPObject!"
Reviewing terminal output from Firefox just before the GUI error displays, I see the following:

I presumed that the issue was a consequence of libpixbufloader-png.so not being available to the plugin, so I installed 'gdk-pixbuf' via pacman. After removing the 'vmware-vsphere-web-client-plugin' package, rebooting, then rebuilding and freshly installing 'vmware-vsphere-web-client-plugin', I can confirm that I'm still seeing the same error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BotoX PKGBUILD is ok? I can upload it?
PS We use 5.1 version for now :(.

I managed to get access to the vCenter 5.5 Web Client by using Chromium with PepperFlash (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/chromium-pepper-flash-stable/).
However, I still had the Client Integration Plug-in for vCenter 5.1 installed, and I was having trouble downloading the new .bundle files. In case you want to retreive the .bundle files directly from the appliance, they can be found here:
/usr/lib/vmware-vsphere-client/server/work/deployer/s/global/72/0/container-app-war-5.5.0.war/vmrc
Hope this helps

For 5.5:

MD5 sums set to SKIP because lazy.

killermoehre, I use extra/flashplugin.

Hi,
I have the problem, that the plugin is recognized by chromium, but not by the vSphere Web Service. I use the pepper-flash-plugin, so flash is recent. Any ideas?

This needs some tweaking for vCenter Server 5.1.0 Update 1a. Unfortunately the .bundle filename is the same, but makepkg will break on the md5 compare.
1. New md5sum for x86_64: 0e329f1d77203f559fc69ef8e9f5b7a4 (not sure about 32)
2. Fix library version by replacing string "781747" with "1060398" in 4 places
