Somebody has VMware vSphere version 6.0? Our company uses 5.5 version and I can't update package.

Remote Console doesn't work:

I have updated vmware vCenter to last version. Now I don't see "download client integration plug-in" url. When I use old plugin I'm see "The server name could not be resolved" at "launch console" url. I think that this feature were removed :(. Adobe Flash Linux deprecation is the reason?

Can someone send me a download link for the bundle file ? I have issues downloading it from our VC.

glebot commented on 2015-02-05 14:41

I fixed sha256sum and minver in PKGBUILD for my VMware-ClientIntegrationPlugin-5.5.0.x86_64.bundle and it's worked fine.

tachy commented on 2015-01-02 11:27

This PKGBUILD needs updating.
Please see

On newer Arch installations, /usr/lib${larch} is a symlink to /usr/lib.
Thus, installing to /usr/lib${larch} results in an error during package installation.

The console plugin errors described by @bhubb and @jadamcraig are due to the manual installation process.
It would be the job of the script to replace @@LIBCONF_DIR@@ in various configuration files.
I have ported that part of the installer to the PKGBUILD build() function.

Also, chromium-pepper-flash should only be an optional dependency. In my setup I use Mozilla Firefox + Adobe Flash Player through pipelight.

bhubb commented on 2014-12-12 00:35

I was able to fix this issue by changing the relative link to a static link in the following config.

The file does exsit but for some reason the @@LIBCONF_DIR@@ variable does not work.

@gps1539: Change the value of "minver" to "2026576" and see if that fixes it.
