Now I am getting this error:

/usr/bin/ld: warning:, needed by /opt/ffmpeg-usdx/lib/, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)

I did install x264, no change. Would it help and how can I specify the path of /usr/lib/

Thanks, I also updated the path to the SVN repository. (v2938-1)

lua dependency should be changed to "lua51". For me building didn't work with the current version of lua. If you get an error while compiling and it is lua related, do pacman -S lua51.

The developers didn't have time yet to update the code to current ffmpeg headers.

UTF-8 encoding bug workaround:
uncomment en_US.UTF-8 in /etc/locale.gen
run: locale-gen
run: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 makepkg

also, at the time of this writing, the svn root in the PKGBUILD has to be changed to

I don't know if this is something temporary with or if they changed the adressing scheme recently

Get this error:
svn: E000022: Can't convert string from 'UTF-8' to native encoding:
svn: E000022: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-agaskins/aur-ultrastardx-svn/src/ultrastardx/game/covers/Title/Title?\195?\150.jpg

Any ideas?

And I guess you're using an x86_64 system?

olebowle commented on 2012-09-21 11:31

Sorry for not mentioning that I have pcre 8.31-1 installed, even before building ultrastardx-svn.

cookies commented on 2012-09-18 12:47

Do you have the package 'pcre' installed? If not, install it and try again. If this solves the problem, please tell me and I will add 'pcre' to the dependencies.

Thank you very much. On thing though: I always got and still get the following error:
"ERROR: pcre not loaded. utf-8 autodetection will not work."

UTF-8 encoded lyric-files aren't displayed correctly.
