I know it's been a while since caleb commented wondering what the point of this package was, but I was wondering the same thing. After struggling with getting proper powerline character alignment, for both powerline in vim and oh-my-zsh's agnoster theme, with the hack font, I installed this package. That's all I actually needed. With the regular ttf-hack package, there were always 1px lines between the pointy character at the end of a colored section, and the block before it, regardless of my URxvt.letterSpace setting in .Xresources.

Hi, while plasma-integration requires ttf-hack. This means I can not install this package anymore. Can you add provides line to the PKGBUILD?

This package is in sync with it's targeted upstream:

What is the point of this package? The Hack font doesn't need patching, it includes powerline support out of the box. Also the ttf-hack package is now in [community], so this AUR package seems quite superfluous. Even worse, it's out of date compared to the upstream project.
