Additionally, past https://github.com/jmc-88/tint3/commit/7b4c1d66aa23c3a20fa22acad53d1c8090dde05e I'm planning to add tests that make use of xvfb-run, so https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/xorg-server-xvfb/ should be added as a makedepends too.

Just as a heads up: I've submitted https://github.com/jmc-88/tint3/commit/19a9c7064a7b2f0848199b0544a4d82340de8016 which adds a new build time dependency (pandoc, https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/pandoc/) needed for the installation of man pages.

License changed, thank you for the notification

jmc commented on 2015-07-26 21:50

Please update the license to be GPLv2. Updating to GPLv3 wasn't really allowed, and was done by mistake, as noted in https://github.com/jmc-88/tint3/issues/14, so I've changed it back.

Still could use cmake in the makedepends array. ;)

Thanks for taking the time to file the bugs. I'll try to address them as soon as possible.

The problem there is that they're hard to reproduce. I cannot reproduce those issues at all with recent builds on a Ubuntu machine, while I can sometimes reproduce on my ArchLinux machine, but in unpredictable ways. I'll see what I can do.

Hey, added those issues!

Hi ggg377, please file any bugs under https://github.com/jmc-88/tint3/issues if you happen to find them -- thanks!

Very weird, I was only missing gcc somehow. Anyway I now got it to build. It does everything exactly as needed when I run it like this: "tint3 -c path_to_config". However for some reason I can't autorun it with openbox (tray won't show and the bar will turn black when I click it). Also if I kill it once, the tray will disappear on second run.

Hi ggg377, do you have base-devel installed?
