@grmume How does your fix allow one to open tidal using the /usr/bin/tidal-music-linux binary? It seems like it would be better to make the changes to /usr/share/tidal-music-linux-bin/resources/app/main.js and /usr/share/tidal-music-linux-bin/resources/app/package.json, although having done so, the application still won't open, with the same Seg fault as @biosin. Your fix seems to only work as long as I keep ~/tidal-music-linux/ and execute "npm start" from within.

@biosin I had the same problem. I solved by doing the following steps: 1) install nodejs, git, npm and electron (why is electron not a dependency?) 2) clone the github repository: 3) apply patch: 4) set the correct pepperflash path in main.js (line 13, the path is : /usr/lib/PepperFlash/

run by executing "npm install && npm start"

Somehow I can't open the application anymore. This is what I get when I launch from console (no id displayed):

Failed to get crash dump id.
Report Id:
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

There is no .desktop file in the package. Can you provide one please?
