@es_18: Updated to use https, in addition to some fixes/cleanups.

es_18 commented on 2018-06-14 21:43

Wouldn't it be more secure to use http rather than https for the sources? The server accepts https as well.

@ohreally: Thanks. Added ghostscript.

ohreally commented on 2017-03-02 16:17

I think ghostscript should be added to the dependency list. If ghostscript is not installed, Ted cannot save as PDF (but PDF is still in the list of supported filetypes in the 'Save As' dialog).

@trialuser: Added lsb-release. For me the build did not fail, it only gave a warning.

trialuser commented on 2016-01-20 04:39

Fails to build for me unless lsb-release is installed.

@blippy: The freetype include patch is not needed anymore. Thanks. Fixed.
The git clone URL is correct. It is for downloading sources, not for viewing sources in a web browser.

I also obtained the fterrdef.h, as reported by anamesa on 2014-02-16. However, I was able to build Ted 2.23 from sources at:

It seems that the prepare() statement, which seds out "freetype" from the include statements, is actually unnecessary, and is causing the problem.

I also notice that points to "Page not found".

I had to add options=('!makeflags') to the PKGBUILD to compile this. Probably it was a race condition on my system, but I wanted to tell anyone.

@willemw: Now it compiles ok. thanks.
