@xamindar Those features still have not been added to the linux client. See here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/40324324-keep-the-linux-client-up-to-date-with-the-latest-f

How do you enable the raise hand and custom backgrounds? This version is newer than the Windows version but I can not find these settings.

@ogarcia - I think you can unpin the pinned post, "insiders" is now available to anyone with a O365 account.

I have both teams (preview, 1.3.00.5153) and teams (insider, 1.3.00.16851) and I can't actually see the difference - is there a difference anymore?

@dack @jvybihal no problem, I do the changes in this package and in teams

jvybihal commented on 2020-06-11 06:25

Currently it's true, there are zero conflicting files in the .deb packages. I will wait for @ogarcia for his thoughts, but I am not against removing the conflict, when there the is no actual file conflict.

Could you remove the conflicts between this and "teams"? The packages have no conflicting files, and I'm able to install and run both without issue if I remove the conflicts from the PKGBUILDs.

@ogghi yess, this is the closed preview, now you have the public one in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/teams/

Looks like preview is not public! https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-teams-for-linux-now-available-in-public-preview/

Can somebody also make a package for the public preview?

@macxcool this package has not post-install script. It is not necessary.

Your post-install message should have the exe as 'teams-insiders' ;-)
