Same here: With "teams" (preview) package installed, I can click a meeting link* (or copy it to the Firefox URL bar) and it opens that meeting in the teams client. I uninstall "teams", install "teams-insiders", do the same thing – and the client is opened (to its latest open screen), but the meeting itself is NOT started. Should this be working with teams-insiders also?
*like this one: https://teams.microsoft.com/dl/launcher/launcher.html?url=%2F_%23%2Fl%2Fmeetup-join%2F19%3Ameeting_………

I'm not able to join a meeting for the very first time, when i open the link in the browser teams just pops up and does nothing

Edit: Got it working now with aur.archlinux.org/packages/teams just not with aur.archlinux.org/packages/teams-insiders
Do meetup join links work with MS Teams on Linux? I haven't been able to get them to open from the browser to the application using AUR/Snap/Flatpak versions. I was sent the link on MS Outlook but there didn't seem to be a way of adding it as an event in my calendar so it would appear within the Microsoft Teams calendar with a join button.
Links such as: http://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join/***
"Unable to create io-slave. klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'msteams'."
msteams:/l/meetup-join/

And let me add, that if someone has a problem with math, you might just quickly refresh how to read calendar. Hint: November comes long after january ;)

Please, before flag as Out-of-date perform a double check in versions. Current version 1.4.00.4855 is higher than 1.3.00.30857, 1.3.00.5153 or 1.3.00.958.
If you doubt, please remember the math classes and perform a count 1, 2, 3, 4, ..., 958, 959, ..., 5152, 5153, 5154, ..., 30856, 30857, 30858, etc.

@xamindar Those features still have not been added to the linux client. See here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/40324324-keep-the-linux-client-up-to-date-with-the-latest-f

How do you enable the raise hand and custom backgrounds? This version is newer than the Windows version but I can not find these settings.

@ogarcia - I think you can unpin the pinned post, "insiders" is now available to anyone with a O365 account.
I have both teams (preview, 1.3.00.5153) and teams (insider, 1.3.00.16851) and I can't actually see the difference - is there a difference anymore?
