Update done. Lets hope Adobe doesn't kill that URL soon. Thanks sgfx :)

Apparently, Adobe have dropped Linux support for all subscription based releases after the recent rebranding. Seems like Linux users are stuck with the Steam releases or alternative products.

There is a merge conflict in substance-designer.desktop

Had to remove the workaround for https://forum.substance3d.com/index.php/topic,29285.0.html. If coming from an older version, you may need to uncomment line 33 in the PKGBUILD. I now have this installed, and will be able to respond quicker to out-of-date flags.

I no longer own licenses for Substance and cannot update this package anymore.

DragoonAethis commented on 2019-09-02 21:34

Updated to 2019.2.0 with minor note: it looks like the HTTPS cert on download.allegorithmic.com has expired today, so the new version will fail to download until that's fixed. You can also download it manually, place the RPM next to the cloned AUR repo and makepkg -si it manually, should you need it faster.

Note: Workaround for https://forum.substance3d.com/index.php/topic,29285.0.html is included as of 2019.1.1-1 ("This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized").

hi @koloved I just updated the packages.

I'm not using substance anymore so I often don't realize there's an update. But if you flag it I'll take care of it.

How to update to 2018,3?
