Why does this package name the launch script and window class "subl3" instead of "subl" as in the upstream package?

From now on this is the recommended way to install ST3 on Arch Linux.
Unfortunately this adds a 2 second hang to Syu.
Do you mind maintaining this or would you like someone to take over?

On the official repos there is no i386 build, neither for the stable nor for the dev channel. For this reason I would be really grateful if this package would continue to be maintained. (I might switch to this here package from the dev branch so I appreciate having the choice.) Thank you for the work you have put into it so far!

Since 26 May 2017 Sublime Text 3 is available via the dedicated pacman repo provided by the author. From now on this is the recommended way to install ST3 on Arch Linux.
Package sublime-text-dev is replaced by repo 'stable'.
Package sublime-text-nightly is replaced by repo 'dev'.

Have an odd bug where the quick switch project shortcut will pop up with "Project list is empty.", but when I select it from the project drop down menu it works fine.

Is anyone else having issues with the nightly build freezing?

@cfstras Thanks for your input. For now I think it's a bit tricky to implement such a feature considering the diverse ways people would use (and install) this package. IMO it seems that staying as close as possible to the Arch way means we leave the package as is.

@sender agreed, force-closing might be too invasive, more so if a user disabled the autosave-feature. Is there the possibility of a timed prompt? So if the user happens to run their upgrade automatic, they'll see it, and after 10s it upgrades anyway?
We could learn from the way Windows Sublime self-updates. There might even be a possibility to tell Sublime itself to display a prominent (timed) prompt, to ensure catching active users.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the ST packages. This is because the author switched names for branches. AUR packages available:
Sublime Text 3 Beta
- package: sublime-text-dev
- upstream: www.sublimetext.com/3
Sublime Text 3 Dev (used to be called nightly)
- package: sublime-text-nightly
- upstream: www.sublimetext.com/3dev
- NOTE: for registered users only
If you want the latest build install *sublime-text-nightly*. Note that you have to be licensed to use this!
