@pheerai: you are right of course. I'm not sure whether this qualifies for an optional then. I thought it might be helpful to list it because the error message you get wasn't very straight forward - this of course depends on your browser

@derSteFfi Do you need upower for any device, or for USB-Devices only? I checked in a VM, and at least the internal DSP is detected without it being installed. I cannot test with a USB-Device, though. I don't get them to get passed on...

for me, upower is needed to detect audio interfaces, I also needed libva-intel-driver (but that's of course platform-dependant).

Hi Fabio,

I will push the changes with the next version bump.

Custom variables we're leftovers from back when there wasn't a "stable" release.

I'll also remove the 'v', even though I'm not totally sure if it's part of the "official" version. The developer always explicitly talks about "Version vXX", so according to the documentation on the wiki it SHOULD be there? I'm unsure about that, but I'll trust in you expertise.

I'll also incorporate the same changes to the "studiolink-standalon-jack-bin"-Package with the next release

Hello Oliver, the 'v' should not be in pkgver and please don't use custom variables when not needed
