@lans9831 and everyone else.

You should use Spicetify that is available on AUR. It works way better than Spotio ever did.

You should be able to design it so it looks like Rdio.

Spotio doesn't work anymore, and the repo is dead.

Can you try spotify.png if that works?

FadeMind commented on 2017-02-17 20:47

you using spotio.png
instead of spotify-client.png
NOPE. Does not work... weird -,-

Hi FadeMind,
That is weird. On Manjaro Deepin it ran duplicated programs due it not syncing with the shortcut somehow. But works fine now.

Can you try changing some things in desktop/PKGBUILD and see what works for you and I will to figure out why. I don't run KDE.

If you figure it out please do a PR at

Hi FadeMind,
It's weird. The icon issue works correctly if you install it manually by pulling the repo but fails if you install it from the aur.

I pushed a fix removing the TryExec.

You may try installing it manually and try if it works that way and if you figure out the issue please do tell me.

FadeMind commented on 2017-02-17 19:39

desktop file is not valid:
TryExec is not VALID entry and should be deleted.

IN KDE Plasma spotio icon in taskbar is not visible at all (used Xorg default instead). >>>>
