Sorry about that. This must have slipped through while cleaning up the deps. It's back in and the PKGBUILD is also updated to the new version

Why was "depends_x86_64 = libcurl-gnutls" removed?

spotify: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

@esrevinu You're right. It does take Enter key input to open up. Such a strange issue.

I have the same issue as @txtsd does. But 'Return' key input can open settings page. I am using Gnome wayland. This issue is seen with package spotify too.

The "normal" spotify package got updated to the same version as the snap. Please check that out and report any issues you find (compared to this snap package).

No luck with spotify-edge-snap. I guess I'll have to try with a DE and see if it behaves differently.

Yes I use GNOME. But you could try spotify-edge-snap. It's a bit newer than spotify-snap

Do you run a DE? I run plain old openbox. Could that be a reason since spotify utilizes DBus?

CReimer commented on 2021-03-13 14:25

Actually I think you can't. It's not like any other application. Especially since Spotify doesn't seem to be particularly interested in the Linux platform.

But if you figure something out. Please let us know

@CReimer How would I begin to debug what's wrong or missing? The log spotify generates in the terminal isn't helpful.
