@davvore33, you're welcome! Any idea where I can get the general- scenario? Is simon working for you?

hi @archery, thank you for your help, packet updated

If you change

and add

#include <QIcon>

in the beginning, it now compiles.

However, when I try to run the simon executable it complains about being unable to load the general- scenario. Anyone knows where to find that scenario?

Hi @zoe, sorry didn't compiled this in long time, so I wasn't able to recreate your error but I've got another one which, I presume, it's a compatibility problem with the version of kf5 libs I'm using (KDE Frameworks: 5.54.0)

Here is the error
/home/matteo/Documents/aur/simon-kf5-git/src/simon/plugins/Conditions/DBus/createdbusconditionwidget.cpp: In constructor ‘CreateDBusConditionWidget::CreateDBusConditionWidget(QWidget*)’:

Hi, sphynxbase is required as dependency, please add it. But even when added, it does not build :

Hi, is anyone using this successfully? Got it to install but I’m having a hard time getting the actual software to work…

lsf commented on 2017-09-22 13:20

Not to sound too harsh, but that PKBUILD was horrible: su, writing to my system during build, empty package as a result..

Anyway, I tried to improve it a bit, it now even builds in a clean chroot:

I still get errors about opening the databse (out of memory errors) when actually trying to run simon, but that might be something you might know more about.
