Oh ! I’m sorry for the mistake (and the late response).
I was deceived by the update notifier …

Latest version is still 7.0.4. Unflagging out of date

@windler47 and @KevinCodux: just click the "Flag package out-of-date" link, which appears in the "Package Actions" box.

There is beta release. Which package can I use? This one or another?

Rhinoceros commented on 2014-07-30 15:57

@jbirdjavi Modifying that file worked for me too. However, an alternative way to fix it is to install jre7-openjdk-headless-infinality from AUR (or probably jre7-openjdk-headless-fontfix if you aren't using infinality fonts). This allowed me to keep /opt/rubymine/bin/rubymine64.vmoptions as default, and hence the fonts look slightly better.

6.3.3 is out:

jbirdjavi commented on 2014-06-17 22:36

That sort of works... Except I had to change it in /opt/rubymine/bin/rubymine64.vmoptions since it was already set to the "lcd" value in that file, so I'm guessing that overrode what was already in the environment variable.

Try this:

I have the same issue with another JetBrains product (Intellij IDEA).
It looks like it is only happening since latest OpenJDK update
Adding "export _JAVA_OPTIONS=-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on" to
/etc/profile.d/ fixed the issue when starting the application
via the desktop icon."
