I found out why this driver module won't install. It's pamac is stupid and we are also. Just click the package you want to install and on the details page click dependencies and then click install. For some reason pamac is treating depencies as optional instead of required so this package is great and you all are also it's just pamac is treating the config as a suggestion instead of an order. I was installing new kernels since that is what the output was telling me to do but it was not telling me to use the dependency area of the install on pamac just to install which I did over and over and the program which had if I recall a while back and option to treat dependencies as required is gone in preferences. I wish people would stop updating programs badly as in removing good stuff from them that worked because they felt like it. OH the maintainer of this project is doing an outstanding job and I wish the maintainer or pamac pacman did such great work and didn't give such cryptic non specific error messages like instead "try pressing the install button in pamac for kernelX to install it or just have a popup asking if you want to install kernel xxx for this installation would be a common sense thing to add to pamac so it actually installed good packages like this one. BTW my feelings when I figured this out were quite colorful as in f pamac and f pamac again piece of c way of not adding dependencies as the config said to do f f f f f . I was a bit rage induced and had to wait and hour to comment on how to install this right since I was so mad I couldn't think straight though I was ecstatic this driver installed finally it was 2 days of trying everything to finally figure it out.

cilynx changed from doing individual repos to branches on this one https://github.com/cilynx/rtl88x2bu This should be updated to use that and presumably build the most recent branch by default.
