While building latest 2.10.2 version I receive an error.

==> Validating source_x86_64 files with md5sums... rocketchat_2.10.2_amd64.deb ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build rocketchat-client-bin. ==> Restart building rocketchat-client-bin ? [y/N]

2.10.1 is out. Fixed a startup bug for me that came with the 2.10 and made the client unusable for me and a college

@mikky I don't have this error on my side. I tested it on two different systems.

Are you on a 64 bits system?

mikky commented on 2017-11-09 14:24

2.10.0-1 still segfaults for me, no error reported, just plain segfault

2.9.0-2 segfaults

Missing dependency: libxss

P.S. This pacakage is extracted from deb package so would be better renamed as rocketchat-client-bin.

It appears the rocketchat binary is at /opt/Rocket.Chat+/rocketchat. The .desktop file under /usr/share/applications has the correct location but the symlink created in the PKGBUILD at install time points /usr/bin/rocketchat-desktop at /opt/Rocket.Chat+/rocketchat-desktop, which doesn't exist.

@tangresh Fixed, thanks.

tangresh commented on 2017-04-27 07:21

With 2.7.0 the main binary changed name to rocketchat-desktop and now the symlink points to nothing.

@chowbok

Thanks for the advice. Symlink moved to /usr/bin.
