It appears that the latest Qt update causes crahes, even after recompiling.

Thank you so much for your suggestion.

Coincidentally, another committer @Zener has just had his PR merged with precisely the changes you recommend.

So I will rerun the PKGBUILD and hope for the best.
Will confirm the PR resolves this issue shortly.

It looks like Cyril just merged a PR for @Zener which fixes up a C++11 constexpr for precisely the same errors I experienced here:

So, I will test -- don't think there's anything for you to fix. -- Dietrich

Fanch commented on 2016-03-29 20:17

In fact it have been fixed in the git repo, so you don't need my temp fix anymore

Fanch commented on 2016-03-29 19:38

@dtschmitz :

please open PKGBUILD, in build() function, line 68, include :

find . -name "*.h" -exec sed -i.bak -e s/'const float'/'constexpr float'/g {} \;
find . -name "*.h" -exec sed -i.bak -e s/'const double'/'constexpr double'/g {} \;

It should compile again :)

Follow up comment to @sehraf:

As always thank you for all your hard work.

I have configured ~/.config/qtchooser as:

And I have installed qt5 along with Qt-creator open source.

Still have the qt4 PKGBUILD so I am fine for now. It builds normally. Get to when you can.

Kindest Regards,

I've updated the package to rely on 'make install'.
Notable differences:
- binaries are now 'RetroShare06' and 'RetroShare06-nogui'
- option to (not) build nogui was removed

Pls report any problems (in case there are any)

sehraf commented on 2015-07-12 21:44

Note: the webfiles for the webui are now installed to /usr/share/RetroShare06/webui because this is where the GUI expects them to be.

sehraf commented on 2015-06-22 21:58

Webfiles are added for the WIP webui.
They are installed to /usr/share/RetroShare/webfiles/.

The webui works with both gui and no-gui (see options or nogui -h for help).
