Ah, got it :) Unfortunately I can't roll back the update. The developer only link to the latest binary. I can see if he still got v2.0.6 backed up so I can link to that until the bug is fixed.
[EDIT] I looked at you post at Manjaro, it seems that you can't start the program at all? I just tried it here, and it start and seems to working without an issue for me (haven't tried renaming anything yet thou). You can try renaming (or moving) ~/.config/Rename My TV Series to something else and try launch the program. It might be a database error.

i did, i was thanking zynex for helping me narrow down a bit further what's going on. if possible you may actually want to roll this back to 2.0.6 since it does work.

If there's a bug, contact the developer at https://www.tweaking4all.com/home-theatre/rename-my-tv-series-v2. He's very helpful when there's a problem :)

thanks for the update much appreciated cause it helped prove there is something wrong with 2.0.10.

I will fix it soon. In the meanwhile, you can always just install the package again, as the source file always point to the latest binary release.
