@dlin: Yes, rdup has had this problem a couple of times already (I mean the build process does not handle multiple jobs well). I've added -j1 to PKGBUILD to prevent this trouble, until the author fixes the Makefile.

Can't build, x86_64,
/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -c base64.c
strip rdup rdup-tr rdup-up
strip: 'rdup': No such file
strip: 'rdup-tr': No such file
strip: 'rdup-up': No such file
make: *** [strip] Error 1

I found the temp solution is '-j1' option on make

@tongpu: thanks. Hopefully fixed in 1.1.14-2.

I needed to apply this patch to make it compile with libarchive 3.1.2-1:

I'm getting compile errors when building rdup-tr.c:

CALEROOTDIR=\"/usr/share/locale\" -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGE_FILES -Os -Wpointer-arith -Wstrict-prototypes -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -c rdup-tr.c
rdup-tr.c: In function ‘main’:
rdup-tr.c:346:25: error: ‘tmpname’ may be used uninitialized in this function [-Werror=maybe-uninitialized]
rdup-tr.c:105:46: note: ‘tmpname’ was declared here
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors
make: *** [rdup-tr.o] Error 1
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

pkg-config is a member of [base-devel] group which you're supposed to have installed if you build aur packages.

Please add pkg-config as a dependency. My build failed because it was missing on my system.
