Hi this is pretty old but here is a patch to make it work with the current revision. Only the sha512sum and the filenames have been updated according to the maintainers docs. Here is the git diff.

@AxPU There is hermes support, but it just didn't getting into package. Please add line: mv hermes "$pkgdir/opt/$pkgname" under line: mv hiqsdr "$pkgdir/opt/$pkgname" in PKGBUILD

AxPU commented on 2018-08-20 20:33

I cannot test that but the quisk website states that hermes support is integrated in the current release. Please test!

Could you add Hermes support? mv hermes "$pkgdir/opt/$pkgname"

@AxPU could you please fix this?

AxPU commented on 2015-11-06 22:28

I have now added codec2 as an optional dependency. It is available in AUR and can, if needed, be used for multiple programs.

chuser commented on 2015-10-15 18:53

I guess it depends on the use case. I only have hiqsdr at the moment so quisk's inbuilt option probably is all I need so long as it keeps up with new modes.

Someone with a traditional tcvr as well as SDR might be interested in freedv as a standalone, but then I guess they could install that separately anyway.

Maybe I'm not the best one to give an opinion!

AxPU commented on 2015-10-12 21:15

Yes this is of course possible. But wouldn't it be better to use the freedv and/or codec2 packages from AUR to provide these system-wide instead? I could then add them as optional requirements?

What do you think?

chuser commented on 2015-10-12 17:21

As part of the install is it possible please to mv the freedvpkg folder across as well?
