Well, I updated package by myself. And it compiles fine now.

I'm not sure I myself want to maintain them here, but I know there are some "upstream" PKGBUILDs for qtox, tox, and other relevant packages hosted at https://github.com/Tox/arch-repo-tox . Maybe someone wants to incorporate those into the AUR, and maybe stay in contact with the developers?

libaudiofilter-git is no longer in the AUR.

@jo-shva: this is an upstream problem, and should be fixed soon. Please try again tomorrow or in a couple of days.

jobidon: do you have the latest tox-git installed?

Please feel free to send a pull request to https://github.com/tox/arch-repo-tox and I'll merge and update here when I can later :)

I couldn't wait and fixed the PKGBUILD myself:
- using branch "back_in_the_game"
- changed the last line (png/svg)

It compiles fine, but i had the following problem after installing:
qtox: error while loading shared libraries: libvpx.so.1 [..]

libvpx was already installed, so i cheated ;-)
# cd /usr/lib; ln -s libvpx.so.2.0.0 libvpx.so.1

... qtox runs fine so far!

For the brave, find the changed PKGBUILD here:

@haavardp: ArchangeGabriel already answered your question to me correctly 'yaourt -Si qtox-git' puts out a wrong AUR URL for this package. A possible reason is also already mentioned.

Please don't understand me wrong, i am thankful for every AUR package available and everbody who puts his free time into that!

But I don't get the reason for *not* temporarily using the formerly mentioned branch 'old-api' until upstream compiles again... Asked the other way round: Is there any specific reason for staying with non-compiling master branch?

Thanks for your feedback, I will update as soon as I can.
