There are happy news, may be it is soon possible to use Qnotero with Zotero 5. see: https://github.com/smathot/qnotero/issues/27

It looks like there was a change in the database structure in Zotero 5 and qnotero has not yet been updated to reflect this change. For now, this package is not compatible with Zotero 5.
The current workaround is to install Zotero 4 (https://www.zotero.org/download/client/dl?channel=release&platform=linux-x86_64&version=4.0.29.10).

Is this compatible with zotero 5.0? I just installed qnotero, and though it seems to work fine and detects the zotero folder, it does not find any entries from my collection.

I don't use this package anymore so I disowned it. Feel free to adopt and update it! :)

After installing qnotero shutting down my PC or laptop takes quite longer (~ 10 s) than if I first manually close qnotero.
Is anyone having this issue. Beside this everything works perfect.

sorry for the mistake... I was sure I had looked for qnotero before marking gnotero as outdated.
Thanks for making this software available to us!!

gnotero has been renamed to qnotero, which uses Qt instead of Gtk. It's available here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?O=0&K=qnotero
