Oh, sorry, I didn't know that Python 3.4 doesn't provide "asyncio" dependency for setuptools (I have included "asyncio" in for backward compatibility with Python 3.3). I will make fixed release in a moment...

New update (1.5.2) breaks qhangups, it doesn't work for me, this is what I get when I try starting it in terminal:

Updated to version 1.5.2

Switch from distutils to setuptools; should work with python-quamash (not only python-quamash-git)

Updated to version 1.5.1.

Now you can format messages with simple Markdown and/or HTML tags; fixes system tray icon doubleclick in other desktop environments than KDE 5/Plasma 5; compatibility with latest Hangups

Updated to latest version 1.3.

Version 1.3 should fix every problem mentioned.

agent0: python-robobrowser builds without poblems for me. Do you have all needed dependencies installed (python-beautifulsoup4, python-pip, python-requests, python-werkzeug, python-nose and python-setuptools)?

Any clues what's going on here?

Please help. It builds ok, but I cannot run it.

I have tryed to install but it do not builds.

Am I alone with such problem?

Mikos commented on 2014-09-30 22:21

This definitely is old version problem. Hangups application has been refactored to hangups.ui package in latest revisions. So if you don't have hangups.ui, you have old Git revision of Hangups or PKGBUILD for Hangups didn't somehow install hangups.ui subpackage.

On my other computer I'm getting a different error...

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/qhangups", line 4, in <module>
from qhangups import qhangups
File "/usr/lib/python3.4/site-packages/qhangups/", line 8, in <module>
from hangups.ui.notify import Notifier
ImportError: No module named 'hangups.ui'

I reinstalled hangups from git to get the latest changes to make sure it wasn't an old version conflict...
