1.50 is in beta, but if someone wanted the PKGBUILD for 1.50b2, here it is. Let me know if it needs to be fixed:

* Added mencoder to depends and libmediainfo to optdepends (but I think it should be a depends)

Two remarks:
* Version 1.50 is available
* 'mencoder' should be added as a dependency (maybe replacing 'mplayer') and 'libmediainfo' is an optional dependency (but a very handy one)

pms used to work here few month ago but right now, I just can get music and picture. When I browse a directory with movies, CPU goes 99% and after sometime the renderer lost the connection to pms. Traces just gives me:
[New I/O server worker #1-2] INFO 21:52:35.493 Media renderer was not recognized. HTTP User agent: UPnP/1.0 DLNADOC/1.50

The application will now launch when you click the icon (thanks Splippity) I had to reset my PS3 network config (go in and make it reconnect to the router) in order for pms to see my ps3. All good now.

maybe its fixed.... maybe it was me but I have to add the folders from scratch and run the scan. I kept checking the database files and they were slowly populating with the data but painfully slow.

ok well part of the problem for me looks like it is: Exec=ps3mediacdserver I had to change it to Exec=ps3mediaserver so the application launcher would work
Now I still have the problem of it not showing all of the folders in a directory and it doesnt show any of the avi files.
I even deleted the /opt/pms folder.... I havent deleted the pms folder in .config but will try deleting all of that next. Even if I revert back to 1.21 I still have the same problem. I tried running the scan option thinking maybe thats part of the problem but it takes an insane amount of time even for a few folders.
