@zynex Import the key with gpg --keyserver --recv-keys EC94D18F7F05997E

There seems to be an error with the gpg validation for 5.20.1.

Yes, that seems to be the problem. Try another virtual machine version, I don't know if I would give you problems with the version you currently have of kde plasma. May be.

I do have Plasma 5.17 but I also have Qt5.14 which might be the problem. Log(likely the same):

Try now... Do you have version 5.17.0 of kde plasma? This module is only compatible with the latest plasma version.

Last version isn't buildable for me:

Can you add gpg verification to PKGBUILD? It can look like this:

# Maintainer: Daniel Cohen <>
pkgdesc="A KCM for configuring Plymouth"
depends=('plymouth' 'knewstuff' 'kconfig' 'kconfigwidgets' 'ki18n' 'kdeclarative')
makedepends=('cmake' 'kdoctools' 'extra-cmake-modules')

prepare() {
mkdir -p $srcdir/${pkgname}-$pkgver/build

build() {
cd "$srcdir/${pkgname}-$pkgver/build"
cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kf5-config --prefix` \

package() {
cd "$srcdir/${pkgname}-$pkgver/build"
make DESTDIR="$pkgdir" install
