Hello, md5sums validation failed for "piwigo.zip". Maybe an update of the md5sums in PKGBUILD is needed ?

you may want to run something like:

curl https://github.com/Piwigo/Piwigo/commit/a8947c7d602ea68b25c36def0a90c79eac5c50ab.patch --output pull.patch
patch -p1 < pull.patch

(there is an example in the PKGBUILD)

Seems to be broken with php 8:

[Fri Jan 29 18:24:24.149797 2021] [php:error] [pid 11906] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_magic_quotes_gpc() in /usr/share/webapps/piwigo/include/common.inc.php:20
Stack trace:
#0 /usr/share/webapps/piwigo/index.php(11): include_once()
#1 {main}\n  thrown in /usr/share/webapps/piwigo/include/common.inc.php on line 20

and this function is removed since php 8: https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.get-magic-quotes-gpc.php

any news upstream?

@akshay.v sorry piwigo is not desktop application, it is a webapp, so you have to configure a web server to access this app, there is an example for apache but you are free to use any web server you like

How do I setup piwigo? I installed on my system but cannot find any way to run on command line or application menu.

txtsd commented on 2020-12-11 18:57

Browser too. Looks like they're suddenly blocking my IP. Sorry about the noise. Thanks for the link, I'll get the package from there and install it.

And when you try to access the website in your browser, does it work ? https://piwigo.org/

if you need the package, you can download it here: https://afur.archlinux.fr/?action=view&p=880

No it's the same with both http and https. No idea why they'd be blocking my IP range.

https://piwigo.org itself is 403ing for me.
