@stativ; this is indeed an upstream problem but I think you should still include the patch posted in the linked report (until it gets merged). It works for me too (modifying ptDcRaw.h and ptImage.cpp)

I also had to patch src/photivo/photivoProject/Makefile (replace lpng15 with lpng16)

Meanwhile, I managed to have a working photivo by extracting deb packages from a ppa, see PKGBUILD : http://pastebin.com/JDYrnUEv . For x86_64 only, and only a temporary solution !
