Note we're refactoring our crypto, and discontinuing support for this package.
The backend services on which peerio-client relies would be shut down by January 2018.
Our new client is distributed on GitHub:
https://github.com/PeerioTechnologies/peerio-desktop/releases
We will not be providing with native packages.
For support, remarks, ... please contact us via a GitHub issue, mail (support@peerio.com, contact@peerio.com, ...), we have a bug bounty program, ...

The current PKGBUILD is quite susceptible to MitM attacks. The Peerio source is patched with a file downloaded over HTTP with no integrity check whatsoever.
