The opentx-companion 2.1.x version is split off into opentx-companion21

The opentx-companion 2.2.x version is split off into opentx-companion22

This version will should follow current release.

That error should probably be reported upstream. Not sure why gcc accepted it before and only recently started to disallow it.

I also get the same error as @Tahvok

Tahvok commented on 2019-05-10 16:12

I cannot build it:

/home/albert/builds/opentx-companion/src/opentx-2.2.3/companion/src/firmwares/opentx/opentxeeprom.cpp:3646:68: warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules [-Wstrict-aliasing] internalField.Append(new SignedField<2>(this, (int &)generalData.hapticMode)); ~~~~~~~~~~~~^~~~~~~~~~ [ 70%] Linking CXX static library libfirmwares.a [ 70%] Built target firmwares make: *** [Makefile:152: all] Error 2 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). Aborting...

Any suggestions on what to check?

@netmonk, when it releases I will.

Any plan to upgrade to 2.2.2 ?

ysblokje commented on 2018-06-14 07:35

It should be fixed, aka it builds for me after some patching.

qt5_use_modules is being used in 10 places, I'll see if I can replace them.

MrLinuxFish commented on 2018-06-14 05:02

I'm also getting cmake errors. It seems the qt5_use_modules is deprecated since plasma 5.11.

phschoen commented on 2018-06-11 18:04

i get an cmake compile error: CMake Error at radio/src/targets/simu/CMakeLists.txt:35 (qt5_use_modules): Unknown CMake command "qt5_use_modules".

are there any deps missing?

It won't compile until pyqt5 python package installed. Just cast pip install pyqt5 (related repository packages does not solve problem)
