Currently broken with the newest icu update. Needs rebuild, most likely.

FYI, the URL in openrct2.install is outdated, I think the new one should be https://openrct2.org/quickstart/install/linux/arch-linux

Yes, I think the convention is that base-devel should be installed manually and packages within it are not supposed to be listed in the depends= line.

Update: I was missing more packages. Installing the base-devel group should help.

I encountered this error:

ERROR: Cannot find the strip binary required for object file stripping.

I solved it by installing binutils.

Could you add binutils to makedeps?

Any chance you could be convinced to submit a PKGBUILD for OpenLoco as well?

It works just fine with ICU 63, you probably just need to rebuild it, as the symbols exported from ICU have changed.

Since icu has been updated to version 63, I can't run the game. (Hope this is the right place to post this?)

make is in the base-devel group. All packages in that group should be installed before building AUR packages (and the policy is to exclude packages in base-devel from the makedepends array: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PKGBUILD#makedepends).

Install 'make' if you get this cryptic, useless error message.

'CMake Error: CMake was unable to find a build program corresponding to "Unix Makefiles". CMAKE_MAKE_PROGRAM is not set. You probably need to select a different build tool. CMake Error: CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER not set, after EnableLanguage'

It should work now - see https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openrct2-git/ for more info about the problem.
