Hi,
seems the push yesterday included some fix (0004), but I still get the same error (I think):
"volinodes.h:109:45: error: unitptr_t undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean intptr_t?"
Any ideas? I'm not familiar with c(++), so before wasting time for something that might be trivial.. (I checked that my openafs-git indeed includes the 0004-patch)
best,
c

Ethyling: Thanks for the hint. I can reproduce the issue and will push a fixed version within the next hours.

Hi guys,
There is a build problem with file volinodes.h :
Got the error "‘uintptr_t’ undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean ‘intptr_t'".
I'm building it on a fresh system.
Regards.

Hey Bevan,
openafs needs this patch:
https://gerrit.openafs.org/#/c/12506
(789319bf0f2b26ad67995f8cbe88cee87a1bbdc0 in master)
to build with Linux 4.10. Cheers!

@Bevan thanks

@mmrezaie: The tool to obtain an AFS token using Kerberos is called aklog, not afslog:
http://docs.openafs.org/Reference/1/aklog.html
mmrezaie commented on 2016-10-20 11:01
I wonder why I cannot find afslog command with this package and I cannot see anyone has any problem with it. So maybe I am doing something wrong or am I? Because of this I cannot get afs token so to get write access to my home folder on afs.

Hi guys,
There are new build problems with Linux 4.5 :( This is in addition to the build problems with Linux 4.4. I think the 4.4 patches are still under review?
drslmr commented on 2016-03-01 07:45
@Bevan it would be fine with me if you could please forward my post.

There are first reports of data corruption when running OpenAFS on Linux 4.4. The proposed patches should therefore only be considered for testing and debugging and not for actual use in production.
