Good catch MCOfficer, should be fixed now.

pkgrel is 1 in PKGBUILD, 2 in .SRCINFO. As a result, this package is constantly displayed as "update available".

I'd like to co-maintain the package :)

Here's an updated PKGBUILD for the latest 0.15 release. I added libgit2 as a dependency and updated the hash.

@simonsilva I've added a post install script to add nu to /etc/shells

simonsilva commented on 2020-04-24 09:12

With chsh -s /usr/bin/nu -a /usr/bin/shell $USER I can't change my shell to nu because it has not entry in /etc/shells. Maybe the entry should be created at installation.

The new 0.3 release doesn't run on Arch. I've opened an issue to see if they can get this fixed, but in the meantime people can build from source with

Thanks for flagging @xolst, I just blindly copied the PKGBUILD from nushell. I've updated to depend on openssl-1.0 instead.
