topher1kenobe: most likely, whichever AUR helper program you ran does not understand the pkgver() function. You can install manually by finding the ncsa-mosaic-git-*.pkg.tar.xz file and running pacman -U on it.

This builds fine for me, but then after asking my passwd it says this:
loading packages...
error: 'ncsa-mosaic-git-2.7b6.r25.gaf942b9-1*.pkg.tar.xz': could not find or read package

Updated to work with libpng 1.5. People may also be interested in Mosaic-CK and VMS Mosaic, which have significant improvements over the original.
