Yes, I have some mythplugins v30. As mythtv-git and mythplugins-* aur packages are based on the same version, they should be compatible.

@hamelg, what dependency are you needing to resolve?

The only AUR packages I can see that require mythtv are the mythplugins. I'm not sure that it makes sense to allow the release versions of mythplugins to depend on mythtv-git. Maybe somebody should put together a mythplugins-git package?

could you add this in the pkgbuild to keep dependencies valid when you replace mythtv by mythtv-git :

last couple of builds i did built fine but metadatalookups no longer work on ttvdb. i have python2-future and python2-requests from myth pkgs. and python2-requests-cache from aur all are current. this was working fine couple weeks ago. wondering if anyone else seeing this or knows a fix ? thanks.

Thanks, I'm on holiday at the moment so I'll have a look at this when I get back in a week or two :)

thanks martyg..!!

@glenb77 I keep a local copy of the git repo so I don't end up downloading it over and over when building test loads. Just hack the github URL in the previous line with the updated tag, and you will be in business.

@martyg - thanks. i tried your pkgbuild but what is the static file you should use in place of source marked ///file... ? would like to give it a try. but thanks for the heads up either way.

Heads up v30 was tagged upstream yesterday. No announcement yet. I got the code to compile with just two quick hacks. Updated PKGBUILD here: Did not have a chance to run any of the binaries. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for putting this up and getting the code from those two repos merged! I hope we will continue working this well together in the future!
