After updating to 5.0.2 the compiled programs are now working on XP. Thank you

Hm, I think I have an XP install disk somewhere, so I'll install it in the VM and test some Qt5 program.

I'm having a problem running the programs on winXP. On wine and Win7 they work great. mingw-w64-qt programs work great on wine, winXP and Win7. I have the following files in my program directory.

Qt5Core.dll Qt5Gui.dll Qt5Widgets.dll
libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll libstdc++-6.dll
libEGL.dll libGLESv2.dll
libpng16-16.dll zlib1.dll
platforms/qwindows.dll

copying dll files from my Windows 7 (where I have Qt 5.0.2 mingw47_32 intalled) works. I'm getting the following error on WinXP only. (I get the same error if I remove libEGL or qwindows on Win7). I believe the problem has to do with angleproject.

Added optional MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL support. Just be sure to install mingw-w64-{libmariadbclients,postgresql-libs} prior to compiling this package (if you want the native sql drivers for those dbms).

ant32 commented on 2013-04-26 22:59

The mingw-w64-libmariadbclient and was able to load a QTableView with a mysql table. I didn't get mingw-w64-postgresql-libs to work yet. I'm getting Error
"Occured opening databasecould not connect to server: Operation would block (0x00002733/10035)"
mingw32-postgresql-libs worked fine on mingw32-qt4.

Thanks @ant32, I'll install mingw-mariadb and try to find a nicer solution. I'll also install postgre and see where that takes me. This is tested with sqlite and (included) odbc, but I sure as hell would like to have native mysql & postgre support.

I'm getting this error while compiling
In file included from /home/philip/.build/mingw-w64/aur-mingw-w64-qt5-qtbase/src/qtbase-opensource-src-5.0.1/src/plugins/sqldrivers/mysql/main.cpp:44:0:
/home/philip/.build/mingw-w64/aur-mingw-w64-qt5-qtbase/src/qtbase-opensource-src-5.0.1/src/plugins/sqldrivers/mysql/../../../sql/drivers/mysql/qsql_mysql.h:52:19: fatal error: mysql.h: No such file or directory
#include <mysql.h>
I added the following line to your PKGBUILD to make it work.
export CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH="/usr/i686-w64-mingw32/include/mysql"
I have mingw-w64-libmariadbclient installed

Qt 5.0.2 has been out for a while.

brcha commented on 2013-04-23 18:06

To use this package you have to use mingw-w64-gcc-qt5 that has patched xmmintrim header, for now.
