@pingplug what's the difference between these two packages? Then why is it mingw-w64-poppler worth mingw-w64-cairo depending on the package?
pingplug commented on 2020-07-13 09:49
@safocl install
mingw-w64-cairo-bootstrap

we found a cyclic relationship between mingw-w64-poppler and mingw-w64-cairo -- how to resolve it?

before this change:
f19808faaed2
mingw-w64-libpng
was amingw-w64-pixman
depends, this seems wrong to me, I think the correct way is to addmingw-w64-libpng
as cairo depends as I did in mingw-w64-cairo-bootstrap and as done in linux cairo packagehttps://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/cairo/

This requires
mingw-w64-libpng
to be in depends; otherwise building packages that depend onmingw-w64-cairo
such asmingw-w64-cairomm
will fail in a clean chroot withmingw-w64-libpng

remove 0002 0030 patch, and add 0027 patch can build the latest version see https://github.com/Alexpux/MINGW-packages/tree/master/mingw-w64-cairo

mingw-w64-cairo-bootstrap is available

Yeah, feel free to make one.

mingw-w64-librsvg and mingw-w64-poppler are optional makedepends. You can remove them to get mingw-w64-cairo build without prebuilts.
I think we should have a bootstrap PKGBUILD for newly installed systems.

@Schala Are ant32's binaries the only solution on a newly installed system?
