@mjr Looks like the source was updated to fossies.org. Another option, just in case it becomes necessary: ImageMagick have bzip2 packages on their source mirrors (HTTPS and FTP!), as one of the ImageMagick delegate libraries.

https://imagemagick.org/download/delegates/bzip2-1.0.6.tar.gz ftp://ftp.imagemagick.org/pub/ImageMagick/delegates/bzip2-1.0.6.tar.gz

@adsun It actually looks like the bzip2 homepage (www.bzip.org) is now some kind of landing page. Not sure where to report this... Is there another trusted source for the source code?

EDIT: the tarball is on the Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20180624184835/http://www.bzip.org/1.0.6/bzip2-1.0.6.tar.gz

The checksums for the tarball have changed. Please update the checksums.

mingw-w64-cairo won't build without them though.

Hi,
There are useless libtool (.la) files in arch/lib, please add !libtool option
x.

Schala commented on 2012-11-28 02:24

Manually typed up some libtool files so other packages (fontconfig, sdl_ttf) wouldn't choke on this

Schala commented on 2012-09-07 10:35

This package is known to cause problems with libtool and linking DLLs, so I'm retracting my vote. I advise you guys not use this package unless you really need to.
