libxrender (lib32-libxrender on x86_64) was missing from depends. PKGBUILD updated. Should work now. Give it a try.

Thanks for the information, I will get a chance to troubleshoot this on an x86_64 Arch box later on today (within the next 10 hours or so). Will look at it then and update the PKGBUILD if necessary.

will see about making a symlink, but just wanted to post the error... will post again if the symlink works or not...
