i've update to the latest stable, there is no dev version newer than stable atm

Hi, Mendeley always offers a new update of ver. 1.19.8 when start. Opt-in to or opt-out from experimental updates won't prevent it, nothimg changes. I already have ver. 1.19.8-dev3. Program works as expected besides that minor issue. Thank you.

How is this package 320 MB larger than non-dev version?

Can't seem to make any connection to Mendeley, every attempt to sign in immediately returns:

"...Socket operation timed out"

Then tells me to check my connection settings.

Not using a Proxy.

No connection issues with the stable release.

Any ideas?

Can you please try to start mendeleydesktop from a terminal to see what is happening and post the output here (or in the forums)?

Installed the following missing fonts:
xorg-fonts-100dpi 1.0.3-3
xorg-fonts-75dpi 1.0.3-3

This resolved the issue, thank you.
