Updated package.

Has anyone found a way to get the "switch user" button to show up on the cinnamon lock screen using mdm? it works with lightdm, but with this mdm package it is non-existent...

Thank you @jamincollins, I have updated the PKGBUILD accordingly.

jamincollins commented on 2015-10-29 22:32

@Gryffyn the placement of the command seems to be incorrect

With your current PKGBUILD:
==> Starting build()...
gnome-doc-prepare: neither '' nor '' exists
Try 'gnome-doc-prepare --help' for more information.
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

My proposed change:

diff --git a/PKGBUILD b/PKGBUILD
index cc7118d..b24ece7 100644
@@ -29,10 +29,10 @@ noextract=()
prepare() {
cd ${srcdir}/${_pkgname}-${pkgver}
aclocal --install
+gnome-doc-prepare --force

build() {
-gnome-doc-prepare --force
cd ${srcdir}/${_pkgname}-${pkgver}
chmod +x ./
export AUTOMAKE=automake

After the above the package builds fine.

I've added the gnome-doc line to the PKGBUILD. Thank you all.

jskier commented on 2015-10-28 13:07

@samyules, put that line directly above the autogen line (line 38). So, after, line 38 will be the command with force flag, and line 39 becomes the autogen command.

samyules commented on 2015-10-27 23:58

@jamincollins I've tried your
gnome-doc-prepare --force
idea and I still can't complete the build process. Could you elaborate. Maybe a snippet of a few lines?

jamincollins commented on 2015-10-16 23:45

the current breakage can be corrected by adding:

gnome-doc-prepare --force

before the autogen command in the PKGBUILD build function.

new update to gnome-doc-utils, that simply is a version bump make mdm unable to build:
automake: error: cannot open < gnome-doc-utils.make: No such file or directory
extra/gnome-doc-utils 0.20.10-2 [installed]
